That is why we have made the decision to now also offer a high performance Samsung sealed Lithium Ion battery pack for GEM electric vehicles operating at 72 volts.  (Nominal operating voltage of approx 81 volts.)  This is a sealed drop in battery pack, which removes your current GEM batteries altogether.  Everything functions perfectly with the GEM vehicle, including all 12v accessories, lighting and signals etc.  You will see a massive increase in acceleration, speed, handling, maneuverability and most of all... range.  Expect to see every bit of 20 to 30 miles of range per charge, which is 2 to 3 times better than typical GEM batteries under "real world driving" conditions.  Your current GEM charger is fully capable of charging these battery packs too.  Battery management system (BMS) is powered through a JK BMS, which pairs to your smart phone or tablet via: Bluetooth.  This allows you to view your exact remaining battery percentage at any time you wish.
