STEP 4

You send us your current GEM car,

or we assist in sourcing one for you.

Before we put hands on the car, we finalize

every aspect of the build, all the way down

to the lug nuts. Every aspect of the “finished car” is thought out and designed.

STEP 5

All of our custom projects begin by breaking the entire car down to the bare frame.

We remove the hood, rear trunk or attachment, rear fender, side rockers and side panels, headlights and tail lights, upper and lower dash and all batteries. This turns

the car in to a “rolling chassis”.

STEP 6

The real work begins! If the vehicle is being lifted, all suspension and lift kit fabrication is done at this point. During this stage, our upholstery wizard sources the perfect materials to complement the paint style. The design and paint process are one of the

most intricate parts of the build. Most people don't realize the importance of how

much the tiniest of details can alter the cars overall appearance.  

 

Once all boxes are checked... such as mirrors, seat belts, sound system, lighting, wheels, tires, roof rack, etc. the final step of rebuilding begins. This step takes the longest amount of time.

 

Every aspect of our team is highly skilled in their respective fields. There are lots of tricks and trade secrets that we do throughout the entire build process, which set our vehicles apart from the crowd.

STEP 7

Every car is professionally detailed, road tested and photographed prior to delivery.  No other company or person in the world builds custom GEM cars or Neighborhood Electric Vehicles like we do.  Our clientele is blown away at the finished transformation.
